The Next Generation of Adventure Photography
In 2014, I found my passion for photography after shooting a climbing adventure in Seneca Rocks WV. Since then I have been pursuing a career in travel and adventure photography. I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography and Film. While at VCU I learned not only the importance of the visual aesthetic of a photograph but also its cultural relevance and conceptual meanings. I have learned to look at photography as more than just a simple visual representation of the world we live in, and instead as a means of communication and a form of art. For me I like to communicate the importance of nature and the emergence of a growing outdoor lifestyle that is trending in modern day America. My work focuses on the world of adventure sports, ranging from gravity sports like skiing/snowboarding and climbing to air sports like paragliding and BASE Jumping.
